Most dogs of this breed have a cut tail, since they tend to use it as a weapon. These dogs are known to have personality, which definitely characterizes Billy. Another difference between Billy and typical schnauzers is his hair cut. We decided not to cut Billy's hair in the typical schnauzer manner, meaning with a large beard and fluffy feet (Wikipedia, "Miniature Schnauzer"). Billy gets more of a 'classic' look. Billy’s colouring is also one that is typical to his breed, because he is gray and black (Wikipedia, "Miniature Schnauzer").
Billy isn't quite so good at guarding, like the other members of his breed. Schnauzers are supposed to be quite the guard dog (Wikipedia, "Miniature Schnauzer"), but Billy is much too friendly to worry about if you're a burglar. Billy is a little small for most schnauzers, but this is because he was the runt of his litter. Due to this fact, when Billy was a puppy he had to be on special supplements to work up his strength.
